This policy covers health1stchiro.com — cookies, analytics, advertising technology, website inquiries and other non-clinical information.

It is not our HIPAA notice. Protected health information and clinical records are governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices. Nothing on this page constitutes a HIPAA authorization, and accepting a cookie banner does not authorize disclosure of protected health information.

What this site collects

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they arrive. This produces aggregate figures — page views, referral sources, approximate region. We do not use it to identify individuals.

Information you send us. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive what you choose to send, including your name and contact details.

Booking. Appointments are scheduled through Jane, a third-party practice management platform. Information you enter there is handled under Jane’s terms and, where it constitutes protected health information, under our Notice of Privacy Practices and a Business Associate Agreement.

Server logs. Our host records standard request information, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not use website analytics to build advertising profiles of individuals.
• We do not publish patient information, images or reviews without a signed written authorization.
• We do not republish patient reviews from Google or other platforms on this site. If you want to read them, we link to the platform where they were written.

An important distinction

Contacting us through this website does not create a patient relationship, and information you send through a web form is not protected health information until you become a patient.

Please do not send detailed health information through a website form or by email. Email is not a secure channel. Call the clinic instead.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You may ask what information we hold about you as a website visitor, ask us to delete it, or ask us not to contact you.

Note that this is different from your medical record. A request to delete website or marketing information does not delete a patient’s clinical or billing record — those are subject to federal and Washington retention requirements and are covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We do treat paediatric patients; that care is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not this policy.

Third-party links

We link to Google Maps, our Google Business Profiles, and our booking platform. Those services have their own privacy policies and we do not control them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page.
